Important Announcement from Nicole and Rod

Dear friends,

We have an important announcement to share with you about InYoga studio:-

As our student community, you’re all very special to us, so we want to make sure you get all the accurate information about the evolution of InYoga before it unfolds in March this year.

We’ll be moving to a new studio space in Surry Hill just a couple of blocks away from our Cooper Street studio.

We’ve made the choice not to renew our lease at 115 Cooper St, due to an unforseeably large increase in rent.  This has come about as a result of the current Surry Hills commercial property market conditions, which has driven up rental in our area.   This rent increase has acted as a catalyst, as it will make our current yoga studio model no longer sustainable. This has prompted us to have a really good look at how we want to move forward, and continue offering quality yoga to our community.

Moving into this new space will require some changes to the way we operate our business.

We’ll be shifting away from the traditional yoga studio model of weekly scheduled classes.  Instead we’re moving towards a dedicated space for regular specialised master classes, tailored wellbeing programs and teacher trainings.

We’ll be personally invested as ever in serving our yoga community through this evolution and beyond.   Our new offerings will enable us to share the wisdom of yoga in a way that will continue to expand quality teaching both within the studio space and beyond.

At its core, our new centre will be dedicated to training and supporting yoga teachers who’ll then support the broader community.

And for you, our dedicated students, we’ll be offering master classes, workshops and well-being programs as an opportunity to dive deep into all that yoga has to offer on a weekly basis.

We understand this will be a substantial change to the routine many of you have grown to love, so we’re in the process of developing online video classes and resources, meditations and educational podcasts that will help you stay connected to your practice in your own home or anywhere in the world.

Obviously there are a lot more details to be shared…  the move will take place mid-March, and we are still in negotiations with our current landlord to determine the exact date of our departure from Cooper Street.  Please look out for future emails from us, and if you haven’t already, follow us on Instagram at @inyogalife and Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/inyogalife/ to receive regular updates.

If you have an annual prepaid membership, one of our team will be in touch with you personally to discuss.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact either Nicole or Rod personally (nicole@inyoga.com.au or rod@inyoga.com.au).

The Cooper Street studio is close to all of our hearts, so let’s really celebrate these last few months in this space.  Come and enjoy as many classes with us as you can!

We’ve got a great no-contract membership special, and a New Year Challenge with the chance to win free passes to our offerings in the new space.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our amazing teachers past and present, who have been the life-blood of our studio.

And we are so grateful for you, our wonderful students who have shared and supported InYoga’s journey so far.  We look forward to sharing many more special moments as we evolve into this new phase of what it means to us … to truly live a life in yoga.

Namaste

Nicole & Rod
